Market Pulse: Polycom Acquires DSTMedia Tech; Terms Undisclosed

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Polycom Inc. said after Wednesday's closing bell that it has acquired privately held DSTMedia Technology Co., which provides video network products throughout Asia. Terms weren't disclosed. DSTMedia's 90 employees will join Polycom, a Pleasanton, Calif.-based maker of Web, video and voice conferencing products. DSTMedia's products will be distributed worldwide under the DST brand, and its CEO and founder, Xiong Sheng Feng, will become a vice president at Polycom, the company said.
